In Situ Generation of a Robust Gel Polymer Electrolyte From a Poly(Ethylene Carbonate)‐Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber Containing Thermoplastic Vulcanizate Electrolyte

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, EarlyView.
A gel polymer electrolyte thermoplastic vulcanizate (GPE–TPV) was prepared by blending HNBR and PEC by melt extrusion then thermally decomposing PEC to yield liquid EC. EC is absorbed into the crosslinked HNBR, yielding an electrolyte that is mechanically and electrochemically stable enough to permit cycling in a LiFePO4–Li half‐cell.

Glyoxylic‐Acetal‐Based Gel‐Polymer Electrolytes for Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2025.
A safe electrolyte based on tetraethoxyglyoxal (LE) is combined with a methacrylate polymer matrix. The resulting gel‐polymer electrolyte (GPE) exhibits an increased flash point, suitable ionic conductivity, and a stable performance in lithium‐ion battery cells.

Metal nanostructure‐coupled label‐free localized surface plasmon resonance biosensors for rapid and sensitive disease diagnosis

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
LSPR biosensing enables rapid, sensitive, and low‐sample‐volume detection of biomarkers, with broad applications in diagnosing cancer, infectious, and chronic diseases. Advances in nanostructure design, micro/nanofabrication, and microfluidic integration have expanded the potential of LSPR sensors in biomedical diagnostics.

Numerical Study on the Effect of Insulator and Wire Mesh Toward Carbon Nanotubes Growth Region in Quasi Pyrolysis Chamber

open access: yesApplications of Modelling and Simulation
Flame synthesis is known to be a more energy- and time-efficient method for producing carbon nanotubes (CNTs) compared to other techniques. However, due to the presence of soot formation and highly oxidizing flame sheet in diffusion flame, synthesized ...

Locked in Transition: Examining the Role of Paradoxical Tensions in the Transition From Industrial Cluster to Eco‐Clusters

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Industrial clusters are central to the circular economy transition, yet how they develop into eco‐clusters and the paradoxical tensions this transformation fuels remain underexplored. Drawing on 48 in‐depth interviews and secondary data from a Turkish textile‐recycling cluster, we develop an empirically grounded model of eco‐cluster transition

Small‐Crystal SAPO‐34 Preparation by Regulating Precursor Mixing Temperature for Methanol‐to‐Olefins Conversion

open access: yesCarbon and Hydrogen, EarlyView.
By tuning the initial mixing temperature from 0°C to 80°C, the crystal size of SAPO‐34 can be adjusted from micro to nanoscale, reflecting a shift from classical single‐crystal growth at low temperatures to non‐classical polycrystalline aggregation at high temperatures.

Evaluation of Explosion Puffed Rice for Beer Production: Increased Wort Yield at the Cost of Filtration Performance

open access: yesCereal Chemistry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Explosion puffing, a new pretreatment technology, was first applied to rice as a beer adjunct to replace conventional cooking and explore its potential to improve saccharification efficiency. Findings Explosion puffed rice exhibited reduced moisture, bulk density, starch, and fat, with a 5.37‐fold increase in ...
