An Open-Source Tool for Anisotropic Radiation Therapy Planning in Neuro-oncology Using DW-MRI Tractography. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
There is evidence from histopathological studies that glioma tumor cells migrate preferentially along large white matter bundles. If the peritumoral white matter structures can be used to predict the likely trajectory of migrating tumor cells outside of ...

Non‐Invasive Diagnosis of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy by Breath

open access: yesAdvanced Sensor Research, Volume 4, Issue 7, July 2025.
The use of sensor technologies for the diagnosis of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) by identification of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in breath samples. By combining gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry (GC‐MS) and electronic nose (eNose) platforms, specific VOC patterns associated with HCM are detected and analyzed.

Lecithin Alleviates Memory Deficits and Muscle Attenuation in Chinese Older Adults and SAMP8 Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study opens a new avenue for safeguarding cognition and muscle health, averting disability in older age, and treating age‐related pathologies through lecithin supplementation. It serves as a promising nonpharmacological intervention for the crosstalk of muscle and cognition.

Network Desynchronization with Sine Waves: from Synchrony to Asynchrony by Periodic Stimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Exogenous alternating current fields are explored and interact with cerebral cortex slow waves in vitro and in silico. Varying frequency and amplitude of sine waves result in distinct network dynamics, from phase‐locking and entrainment to desynchronization. These responses occupy specific regions within the parameter space.
