IEE Proceedings G (Electronic Circuits and Systems), 1980An analysis technique is presented and developed which enables analogue active networks and digital filters to be combined into a new type of network, the digital active network. The potential effects of limit cycle noise are extensively considered and for a practical example both the results of computer analysis and actual measurements are given.
