The exposomal imprint on rosacea: More than skin deep

open access: yesJournal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Volume 40, Issue 3, Page 387-403, March 2026.
Rosacea reflects systemic and environmental interactions, not just a skin disorder. Key factors include environmental triggers, genetic and microbiome influences, diagnostic gaps in skin of colour and social determinants. Advances in multi‐omics and exposome integration highlight pathways towards precision medicine, prevention and equitable, patient ...

Therapeutic advances in pruritus as a model of personalized medicine

open access: yesJournal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Volume 40, Issue 3, Page 415-422, March 2026.
Recent advances in itch biology reveal that chronic pruritus arises from distinct neuroimmune pathways driven by cytokines, JAK, BTK and GPCRs. Targeted biologics and small molecule inhibitors such as dupilumab, nemolizumab, remibrutinib and JAK inhibitors precisely modulate these pathways, leading to a new era of personalized therapeutics in pruritus.

Comparative Evaluation of High‐Frequency Microneedling Using a Layering Technique Versus Conventional Technique for Facial Rejuvenation

open access: yesJournal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Volume 25, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of high‐frequency microneedling (HFM) using a layering technique versus conventional HFM for facial rejuvenation, with the Fitzpatrick Wrinkle and Laxity Classification Scale (FWCS) score at 3 months post‐treatment as the primary endpoint.

Dual‐Targeting Oligopeptide‐215 Regulates Skin Barrier Homeostasis Through Concurrent Modulation of JAK–STAT and NF‐κB Signaling

open access: yesJournal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Volume 25, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate Oligopeptide‐215, a biomimetic peptide engineered from amphibian skin secretions, for its dual capacity to restore skin barrier homeostasis by concurrently targeting physical barrier proteins and inflammatory pathways via JAK–STAT and NF‐κB modulation.
