Loop‐handover technique for digitally controlled multiple‐output dc–dc converters

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2016
The loop‐handover (LHO) technique is proposed to overcome the problem of close‐loop performance in digitally controlled single‐inductor multiple‐output dc–dc boost converters during start‐up. The presented technique utilises an existing clock source and requires only a small number of blocks.

Co‐Design to Capacity: An Instructional Design Approach for Indigenous Women Empowerment and Sustainable Technology Adoption

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The adoption of rural livelihood technologies is often hindered by a gap between participatory design and user capacity. This study addresses this challenge with a co‐designed lemongrass distillation system in rural India that remained unused due to a lack of community capacity, despite a successful design process.

Project Management Methodologies of International Development Agencies and the Concept of Sustainable Project Management

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This research explores to what extent the ideas and notions of sustainable project management (SPM) are reflected in the project management methodologies of three selected international development agencies. A conceptual framework is developed, and a deductive content analysis is performed.

Tailoring Model‐Based Systems Engineering for Sub‐100 g PlanarSats: A Power‐First View Stack

open access: yesSystems Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper addresses how to apply model‐based systems engineering (MBSE) to ultrasmall planar satellites under severe power and resource constraints. PlanarSats are sub‐100‐gram spacecraft built as single printed‐circuit boards where the same surface must host both electronics and solar cells, so power generation, geometry, and component ...

Security Analysis of Various Authentication Schemes Based on Three Types of Digital Signature Schemes

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
To achieve source authentication, message integrity, and non-repudiation, a number of authentication protocols adopt several types of digital signatures: public-key signatures, identity-based signatures, and certificateless signatures.
