Impact of Relative Humidity on Wood Sample: A Climate Chamber Experimental Simulation Monitored by Digital Holographic Speckle Pattern Interferometry [PDF]
Relative humidity (RH) changes are a natural environmental effect that forces organic materials to a constant cycle of achieving equilibrium. The present work is part of an ongoing research based on the hypothesis that the inevitable deleterious effects ...

Speckle denoising based on Swin-UNet in digital holographic interferometry.
Speckle noise, mechano-physical noise, and environmental noise are inevitably introduced in digital holographic coherent imaging, which seriously affects the quality of phase maps, and the removal of non-Gaussian statistical noise represented by speckle ...

Temperature fields in liquids: A comparison of CFD simulations with Digital Holographic Interferometry and thermocouples [PDF]
This paper presents temperature estimations via two simple CFD simulations of a dynamic phenomenon in a transparent tank (cylindrical heater rod submerged into water in a glass tank) with ANSYS Fluent and comparison with the optical measurement results ...

Digital holographic interferometry for particle detector diagnostic
In high precision scattering experiments particle tracks must often be reconstructed from a series of hits in successive detector planes. The relative distance between these planes is a critical parameter that must be monitored during operation. To address this problem we have developed a digital holographic interferometer dubbed Holographic Alignment ...

Digital off-axis holographic interferometry with simulated wavefront
The paper presents a novel algorithm based on digital holographic interferometry and being promising for evaluation of phase variations from highly noisy or modulated by speckle-structures digital holograms. The suggested algorithm simulates an interferogram in finite width fringes, by analogy with classical double exposure holographic interferometry ...

Fabry-Pérot Microscopy for Improved Contrast Enhancement and Quantitative Phase Imaging. [PDF]
Fabry‐Pérot Microscopy (FPM) integrates a tunable laser and on‐chip optical cavity to amplify contrast within biological samples, achieving up to 20× enhancement. This label‐free technique enables quantitative phase imaging and discrimination of different cell types based on their optical thickness. ABSTRACT Fabry‐Pérot microscopy (FPM) is a label‐free

Soft Interferometric Nanostrain Sensor Reveals Solid-Liquid Interfacial Tension Oscillation Amplified by Competitive Adsorption. [PDF]
An interferometric nanostrain sensor is developed to investigate unlabeled protein adsorption by directly measuring real‐time interfacial tensions at unprecedented resolution (<0.25 mN m−1). A high‐frequency, low‐amplitude oscillation of the interfacial tension is found to be superimposed over the Langmuir adsorption.

Curvy Surface Reconstruction. [PDF]
This review introduces the concept of “general curvy surface reconstruction,” which incorporates both geometric and physical dimensions, representing an upgrade over conventional geometric reconstruction that focuses solely on spatial relationships. Particular emphasis is placed on the emerging opportunities enabled by advanced measurement techniques ...
