Measurements of the Characteristics of Transparent Material Using Digital Holography

open access: yesAdvances in Materials Science and Engineering, 2013
Digital holography is applied to measure the characteristics of transparent material. A digital hologram recording system to measure the surface of transparent material was established, and the digital holograms of transparent object were obtained in ...

Explicit Compression Degradation Estimations for Low‐Sampling Single‐Pixel Imaging using Hadamard Basis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study proposes a degradation estimation technique to explicitly describe compressive sampling for low‐sampling Hadamard single‐pixel imaging. Blur kernels in explicit degradation models are estimated by the self‐supervised learning method without labeled data and implicit priors.

Portable Filter-Free Lens-Free Incoherent Digital Holography System

open access: yesPhotonics
A portable incoherent digital holography system without a polarization filter or a refractive lens was developed. Phase-shifted self-interference incoherent holograms of light diffracted from an object were generated without attenuation due to a ...

Multi‐Dimensional Acoustic Cascaded Holographic Encryption with Instantaneous Visual Decryption via Particle Manipulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Acoustic holograms act as key tools for information encryption, yet current schemes limit encryption dimensionality/security and require time‐consuming decryption. A compact device integrates multi‐dimensional cascaded acoustic holography with particle manipulation, employs extra secret keys, enables rapid decryption, and is validated via 1D/2D/3D ...

Providing a Visual Understanding of Holography Through Phase Space Representations

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
Digital holograms are a prime example for signals, which are best understood in phase space—the joint space of spatial coordinates and spatial frequencies. Many characteristics, as well as optical operations can be visualized therein with so called phase

Polarization‐Multiplexed Metalens Enables Switchable and Compact Chromatic Confocal Sensing with Dual‐Mode Precision Control

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work breaks conventional design paradigms by leveraging a polarization‐multiplexed metasurface to create the first chromatic confocal sensor with dynamically switchable measurement performance, achieving 10‐fold miniaturization (Ø1 mm vs cm‐scale conventional probes).

Multifunctional Programmable Transmissive Metasurface with Phase and Amplitude Manipulation Capability

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work provides a multifunctional programmable transmissive metasurface with phase and amplitude manipulation capability in the sub‐6G band. By applying different coding strategies, the proposed metasurface can realize vortex beam generation, holographic imaging under phase coding mode, and multi‐beam forming in phase‐amplitude joint coding mode ...

Observation of Ultranarrow Band Red Photoluminescence from Pure Organic Self‐Assembled T2T Micro‐Rods: A Route to High‐Resolution Light Sources

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
π‐Conjugated T2T SAMRs display an ultranarrow red PL peak (FWHM = 3.2 nm at 625 nm). Crystalline J‐aggregated domains facilitate STEs that lead to photo‐brightening effect. During exposure, emission from the irradiation spot becomes sharper and more intensely red.
