Application of Digital Image Correlation (DIC) on Magnetostriction of Fe-Pd Alloy
Materials Science Forum, 2012In this study, the relationship between magnetostriction and microstructure for a Fe-30at-%Pd alloy was investigated. The alloy was fabricated by vacuum arc melting, followed by 24 h annealing under vacuum at 1000 °C and then by quenching in ice water.

DD-DIC: A Parallel Finite Element Based Digital Image Correlation Solver
The computational burden associated to finite element based digital image correlation methods (FE-DIC) is mostly due to the inversion of global FE systems and to global image interpolations. On the contrary, subset based approaches require only subimages, and allow solving small independent systems in parallel.Passieux, Jean-Charles +2 more

Failure Characterisation of Heavy Tow Braided Composites Using Digital Image Correlation (DIC)
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2006An extensive test campaign has been conducted to characterise the different failure modes observed in heavy tow (24k) carbon and glass braided composites. The Digital Image Correlation (DIC) technique was used to obtain complete strain field measurement of large strains to failure.

Low Cost Digital Image Correlation (DIC) for Monitoring Components Undergoing Fatigue Loading
An alternative approach to dealing with noise in digital image correlated data. The target application is for non-destructive inspection of components outside of laboratory conditions, where oscillatory loading (either as part of the normal service or especially excited) is used to produce the strain changes required to determine the strain field.R.K.
