Delivery of Pleckstrin‐Homology Domains Suppresses PI3K/Akt Signaling and Breast Cancer Metastasis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Current therapies curb tumor growth but not metastasis. Obscurin, a giant metastasis suppressor lost in breast cancer, restrains PI3K/Akt signaling but is impractical to restore. We deploy a mini‐obscurin, comprising the obscurin‐PH‐domain, which sequesters PI3K‐p85, potently suppressing invasion and metastasis.

Toward Next‐Generation High‐Speed Communication and Imaging: Solution‐Processed Sb2(S,Se)3/CdS Heterojunction for Ultrafast Self‐Powered Photodetector

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A high‐quality solution‐processed Sb2(S,Se)3/CdS heterojunction is designed to overcome the intrinsic limitations of conventional photodetectors. The fabricated device achieves an excellent self‐powered performance, including a high responsivity of 0.6 A W−1, an ultrahigh specific detectivity of 7.68 × 1012 Jones, and a wide 3db bandwidth of 175 kHz ...

A Soft Matrix Microenvironment Promotes Laterally Spreading Tumors via Oxidative Phosphorylation‐Dependent Cell Adhesion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Laterally spreading tumors (LSTs) are precancerous colorectal lesions characterized by a flat morphology. This study reveals a mechanochemical pathway through which a soft matrix microenvironment diminishes spatial constraints in intestinal adenomas. This process promotes deficiencies in tight junction proteins, mediated by the mechanoreceptor ADORA2B ...
