Femtosecond laser shaping with digital light processing

Optical and Quantum Electronics, 2015
We describe a pulse shaper based on a combination of a 4f-line and a digital light processor (DLP) system composed by independently addressable micro-mirrors. The DLP system allows to control the spectrum of a femtosecond laser with a high resolution up to 30 GHz.

Digital Light Processing and MEMS: an overview

Digest IEEE/Leos 1996 Summer Topical Meeting. Advanced Applications of Lasers in Materials and Processing, 2002
A new projection display technology called Digital Light Processing/sup TM/ (DLP/sup TM/) accepts digital video and transmits to the eye a burst of digital light pulses that the eye interprets as a color analog image. DLP is based on a microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) device known as the Digital Micromirror Device/sup TM/ (DMD/sup TM/).

Design of digital light processing mini-projection lens

9th International Symposium on Advanced Optical Manufacturing and Testing Technologies: Advanced Optical Manufacturing Technologies, 2019
For the rapid development need of the digital light processing (DLP), we designed a mini-projection lens applied to 0.65” DLP with ZEMAX. The mini-projection lens is composed of 9 group of 10 lenses, total length is 90mm, and the maximum aperture is 36mm.

Digital light processing of ceramic components from polysiloxanes

Journal of the European Ceramic Society, 2018
Abstract Additive manufacturing using photocurable polymers is one method to answer the increased demand of ceramic structures with complicated morphology by fabricating ceramic parts with high resolution and good surface quality. We introduce here a new method to fabricate SiOC ceramic structures by utilizing a simple physical blend between two ...

Silk Fibroin Bioinks for Digital Light Processing (DLP) 3D Bioprinting

2020
Three-dimensional (3D) bioprinting has been a highly influential technology in the field of tissue engineering to enable speedy and precise spatial patterning of cells, growth factors, and biomaterials. Bioink is one of the main factors in 3D bioprinting, and hydrogels are excellent matrix type by means of bioinks for 3D bioprinting.

Reconstructing 3-D light-microscopic images by digital image processing

Applied Optics, 1985
A reconstruction procedure based on linear system theory has been developed for 3-D light-microscopic images. Inverse filtering with the 3-D optical transfer function was used for image reconstruction. The procedure allows a significant improvement in spatial resolution in the image planes perpendicular to the optical axis.

Using digital signal processing techniques in light controllers

IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, 1993
In some European countries, the electric power stations sends out controlling codes modulated onto the net frequency in order to synchronize all the public timers. These features are detected as modulated noise by the light controllers in the house. A digital filtering technique that does not require a dedicated digital signal processor is presented. A

Digital Light Processing/sup TM/ for color printing

Digest IEEE/Leos 1996 Summer Topical Meeting. Advanced Applications of Lasers in Materials and Processing, 2002
A significant commercial opportunity exists for MEMS in the form of a silicon spatial light modulator (SLM) suitable for both digital display and digital printing applications. The Digital Micromirror Device/sup TM/ (DMD/sup TM/) SLM has been under development at Texas Instruments since 1987, and is the core component of TI's Digital Light Processing ...
