Triggering module for waveform digitization
Brain Research Bulletin, 1991A full circuit description is provided for a triggering module used to assist a small laboratory computer in digitizing muscle force- and EMG waveforms. During the stimulation of individual motor units using a standard fatigue test, a train of 13 pulses are delivered at a rate of 40 pps either intracellularly to a motor neuron, or extracellularly to ...

A GaAs MMIC Digital Phase Modulator
27th European Microwave Conference, 1997, 1997The paper introduces a GaAs MMIC digital phase modulator based on a lumped quadrature hybrid. The quadrature coupler is implemented using two interleaved spiral inductors in a transformer-like configuration. The phase control is obtained electronically tuning two L-C resonators that load the coupled ports.

To begin with, this chapter quite generally creates a basis for an approach to the digital modulation methods. Following this chapter, it would also be possible to continue e.g. in the field of mobile radio technology (GSM, IS95 or UMTS) as the basic knowledge discussed here applies to the field of communication technology and its applications overall.

Digital envelope modulator for digital waveform
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1983An envelope is imposed on a sequence of binary waveform samples representing a musical waveform signal by repetitively summing selected ones of a group of scaled representations of each of the waveform samples of the form A/2 m , A/2 m+1 . . . A/2 m+p , where A represents the magnitude of the waveform sample, p is a predetermined integer, and m is an ...
