Study of a full-digital multi-waveform nuclear pulse signal generator

Applied Radiation and Isotopes, 2022
The traditional nuclear pulse signal generator outputs the nuclear pulse signal of specific waveform according to the input pulse amplitude probability distribution and counting rate, following the signal output laws of radiation detector in both pulse amplitude and time interval. However, the output waveform is generally regulated by an analog circuit,

Digitalization of inverting filter shaping circuit for nuclear pulse signals

Nuclear Science and Techniques, 2020
In the design of filter shaping circuits for nuclear pulse signals, inverting filter shaping circuits perform better than non-inverting filter shaping circuits. Because these circuits facilitate changing the phase of a pulse signal, they are widely used in processing nuclear pulse signals.

Study of Sallen–Key digital filters in nuclear pulse signal processing

Nuclear Science and Techniques, 2019
The Sallen–Key filter (S–K) is widely used in nuclear pulse signal processing because of its simple working principle and good performance. Related research has only reviewed the recursive numerical model of digital S–K using idealized parameters. The use of digital S–K thus has limitations under these circumstances.

Nuclear spectroscopy pulse height analysis based on digital signal processing techniques

Proceedings of 1994 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium - NSS'94, 1995
A digital approach to pulse height analysis is presented. It consists of entire pulse digitization, using a flash analog-to-digital converter (ADC), its height being estimated by a floating point digital signal processor (DSP) as one parameter of a model best fitting the pulse samples.

Nuclear spectroscopy pulse analyser board based on digital signal processing techniques

1995 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium and Medical Imaging Conference Record, 2002
A new multichannel pulse analyser method based on digital signal processing techniques for application in nuclear spectroscopy was developed and tested. The system is capable of capturing the complete radiation induced pulse in digital form. Signals are properly formatted using a gaussian amplifier being the acceptable pulse width in the range from 2 ...
