Digitally Assisted Harmonic Cancellation for Multi-Octave Filter-Less Transmitter
This paper presents and demonstrates the design of a filter-less transmitter architecture with digitally assisted harmonic cancellation. A neural network is used to model the harmonics as well as IMD for digital predistortion applications.

For higher data throughput, the Massive Multi-input Multi-output (MIMO) system has been widely used in modern communication systems. Due to the circuit size and power consumption, it is difficult to integrate one Radio Frequency (RF) chain for each power

Analysis of Internally Bandlimited Multistage Cubic-Term Generators for RF Receivers [PDF]
Adaptive feedforward error cancellation applied to correct distortion arising from third-order nonlinearities in RF receivers requires low-noise low-power reference cubic nonidealities.

The noise is an inherent part of a transceiver system, which becomes more severe on low‐cost systems. The power amplifier (PA) further enhances this noise and the signal to be propagated to the receiver. The conventional approach of digital predistortion

Theoretical Investigation of Digital Predistortion System [PDF]
Some doubt has been cast upon the predistortion system applying indirect learning structure (IDLS). In this paper, using the polynomial model for the predistorter (PD), theoretical investigation and simulation on the predistortion system performance basing on IDLS is put out.

Time-Domain Predistortion Method Based on Raised Cosine Signaling in Real Transmission Channels
The concept of time-domain predistortion method based on raised cosine signaling is applied in real transmission channels. The proposed PWM-RC method uses raised-cosine pulse shaping instead of conventional rectangular digital signals and pulse-width ...

Sparse Flexible Reduced-Volterra Model for Power Amplifier Digital Pre-Distortion
The Volterra framework plays an important role in digital pre-distortion (DPD) for power amplifier (PA) linearization. In practice, the full-Volterra (FV) model is avoided due to the so-called curse of dimensionality, which has motivated several Volterra

Improving the Spectral Efficiency of Nonlinear Satellite Systems through Time-Frequency Packing and Advanced Processing [PDF]
We consider realistic satellite communications systems for broadband and broadcasting applications, based on frequency-division-multiplexed linear modulations, where spectral efficiency is one of the main figures of merit.

In order to keep the adaptive digital predistortion algorithms valid, usually the output power level of the TWTA must be reduced, which corresponded a reduced efficiency of the TWTA.A predistortion technique was proposed by combining RF predistortion ...
