Digital Reconstruction With Island Flaps

Clinics in Plastic Surgery, 1997
Better understanding of the vascular anatomy of the hand and of flap perfusion allows the hand surgeon to perform single-stage reconstruction of digital defects through a multitude of island flap transfers. The usefulness of more than 20 separate island flaps is discussed, and the technique of flap transfer is presented for each.

Reconstruction of Individual Digits

Hand Clinics, 1985
The development of microvascular techniques has encouraged the hand surgeon to re-examine the principles of reconstructive surgery. The transfer of vascularized composite tissues, if technically well done, can obviate the need for time-consuming staged procedures.

Reconstruction of three-dimension digital rock guided by prior information with a combination of InfoGAN and style-based GAN

Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering, 2022
In digital rock physics, the study of physical parameters and flow characteristics of reservoirs requires a wealth of three-dimension digital rock samples However, traditional physical methods of obtaining digital rock are expensive, and numerical ...

Thumb Reconstruction by Digital Transposition

Orthopedic Clinics of North America, 1977
In traumatic loss or congenital aplasia of the thumb, transposition of a digit on its neurovascular pedicle is the preferable method for thumb reconstruction. The index finger is the digit of choice, but any other finger or a portion of a finger can be used, especially if it is damaged.

3D Carbonate Digital Rock Reconstruction Using Progressive Growing GAN

Journal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, 2021
The development of digital rock physics relies on the availability of high‐quality 3D digital rock images, which can be directly obtained with X‐ray micro‐Computed Tomography (μCT).

Digital Reconstruction in the Mutilated Hand

Annals of Plastic Surgery, 1982
Salvage and reconstruction of the mutilated degloved hand or digit pose a problem because of the deficiency of local innervated pulp tissue. Free neurovascular flaps from the first web space of the foot supply a large area of well-padded innervated glabrous skin to resurface such defects.

Meshless reconstruction technique for digital tomosynthesis

Physics in Medicine & Biology, 2020
A novel meshless reconstruction algorithm for digital tomosynthesis (DT) is presented and assessed against experimental data. The algorithm does not require a three-dimensional grid or mesh allocation and performs a slice-by-slice reconstruction where each slice position can be chosen at runtime.
