Advances In Reconstruction Of Digital Joints

Clinics in Plastic Surgery, 1997
The recent development of dynamic traction provides several advantages for the treatment of intra-articular fractures of the hand: Ligamentotaxis reduces fracture fragments and realigns joint surfaces, Contracture of joint ligament and periarticular structures is prevented, Collapse of fracture fragments is prevented, Cartilage healing and regeneration

Digital Forensic Reconstruction of a Program Action

2013 IEEE Security and Privacy Workshops, 2013
Forensic analysis of a suspect program is a daily challenge encounters forensic analysts and law-enforcement. It requires determining the behavior of a suspect program found in a computer system subject to investigation and attempting to reconstruct actions that have been invoked in the system.

Point-based digitally reconstructed radiograph

2008 19th International Conference on Pattern Recognition, 2008
In this paper, we present a novel point-based digitally reconstructed radiography (PBDRR) method for large CT data sets. Three steps are mainly included in the proposed method, namely point sampling, point rendering and quantization. Finite samples are determined on the nature or user-specified transfer function by a Monte Carlo technique.

A perfect reconstruction paradigm for digital communication

42nd IEEE International Conference on Decision and Control (IEEE Cat. No.03CH37475), 2004
In this paper we present a deterministic worst-case framework for reconstruction of discrete data transmissions through dispersive communication channels. This framework can be explored based on robust control ideas and formulations and serves as a complement to existing approaches that reconstruct data by optimizing probabilistic criteria.

New Trends in Digital Shape Reconstruction

2005
There are various segmentation and surfacing methods to create CAD models from measured data. First the difficulties of creating a good surface structure over a polygonal mesh are investigated, followed by investigating the most important approaches according to the amount of user interaction, computational efficiency and surface quality. Digital Outcrop Model Reconstruction and Interpretation

2022
Collecting quantitative and extensive datasets in the field is fundamental in structural geology, stratigraphy, and sedimentology, rock mechanics, and in other fields of the Earth and planetary sciences. Digital Outcrop Models (DOMs) provide a 3D framework for collecting these large datasets and can be obtained from laser scanning or photogrammetric ...

Curating Reconstruction in the Digital Realm

The chapter reflects upon the importance, challenges, and opportunities of a digital presentation of cultural heritage with a specific focus on a representation of audiovisual materials. It provides a complex insight into theoretical, conceptual, and curatorial strategies applied in the multimedia virtual exhibition Frames of Reconstruction.

eRNA: Refining of reconstructed digital waveform

2015 IEEE International Test Conference (ITC), 2015
This paper describes about capturing waveform and eye pattern of high-speed digital interface signals by using ATE (Automated Test Equipment) digital channels. In order to effectively capture digital waveform using digital channels, the DNA (Data aNAlysis) method was developed.
