The Fast, the Steady and the Tenacious: Funding Pathways for Circular Start‐Ups
ABSTRACT Circular start‐ups (CSUs) are critical for unlocking the circular economy, yet they face persistent barriers in accessing finance. Despite growing interest from policymakers and financing institutions, little empirical evidence explains how these ventures pursue and secure funding.

Informal Housing, Inadequate Property Rights: Understanding the Needs of India's Informal Housing Dwellers [PDF]
In India, as in many other developing countries, urban population growth and the shortage of planned affordable housing have led to 26–37 million households (33–47 percent of the urban population) living in informal housing (slums and unauthorised ...

A Mouse Model of Bovine Pneumonic Pasteurellosis: Dose Response, Temporal Evolution of Lesions and Effects of Arachidonic Acid Inhibitors (Indomethacin, Nordihydroguaiaretic Acid, Hydroxyurea). [PDF]
Outbred Swiss Webster mice were used as an experimental model for bovine pneumonic pasteurellosis. Using light microscopy and transmission electron microscopy to evaluate lesions, it was determined that intrabronchial inoculation of Pasteurella ...

Abstract Industrial wastewater contamination by azo dyes poses a significant environmental challenge. This study reports the green synthesis of bimetallic iron/nickel (Fe/Ni) nanoparticles using moringa leaf extract, which acted as both a reducing and capping agent, and their incorporation into polyethersulphone (PES) membranes to produce eco‐friendly ...

ABSTRACT Mining is one of the foundations of economic development but has historically been associated with severe socioenvironmental impacts, such as ecosystem degradation, displacement of traditional communities, and large‐scale disasters. In this context, corporate social responsibility (CSR) plays a central role as a mechanism for legitimizing ...

A sustainable upcycling strategy transforms tungsten carbide–cobalt (WC–Co) soft scrap into high‐performance cathode materials. Recycled Co with trace nickel (Ni) is resynthesized into stabilized LiCoO2 with superior high‐voltage durability, while the recovered tungsten is further utilized as tungsten trioxide to enhance Ni‐rich cathode interfaces ...

This study demonstrates a two‐stage catalytic bioreactor system that converts real food waste into high‐purity biohydrogen and biohythane. In Stage‐1, an enriched Clostridium thermocellum culture combined with Ni2+─Fe2+ bimetallic catalysis enhances hydrolysis efficiency and hydrogenase activity, resulting in a 77% increase in H2 yield and 75.8% purity
