Digital car audio system

IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, 1993
A real-time digital car audio system which uses digital signal processing algorithms for frequency response equalization, stereo image adjustment, dynamic range compression, and surround processing is described. This digital car audio system can be used to compensate degradation in sound quality caused by the acoustic environment and background noise ...

Digital system simulation: methodologies and examples

Proceedings 1998 Design and Automation Conference. 35th DAC. (Cat. No.98CH36175), 1998
Two major trends in the digital design industry are the increase insystem complexity and the increasing importance of short designtimes. The rise in design complexity is motivated by consumerdemand for higher performance products as well as increases inintegration density which allow more functionality to be placed ona single chip.

A Digital Drift Chamber Digitizer System

IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 1979
A digital drift chamber digitizer system has been developed for use in a PEP experiment. The system is packaged 8 channels to a # 1 CAMAC module, and features real time digitization, 5 ns time binning, automatic data compression, and access to wire hit information for use by an external fast trigger processor.

Digital Systems

2005

Digital Control Systems

1984
Publisher Summary A control system consists of two main parts. One is the object being controlled, often referred to as the plant, and the other is the controller. With the plant, it is possible to identify certain outputs, which are variables to be controlled and certain control inputs, which are variables to be manipulated, so as to achieve the ...

Digital power system

Proceedings of the 3rd World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation (Cat. No.00EX393), 2002
The concept of a digital power system (DPS) is set forth in the paper. The definition, the contents, the function, the hardware and the software conditions for implementing it are discussed. Moreover, the necessary basic research work for implementing a DPS is also discussed.

Digital System Reliability

2018
In the 1950s and 1960s, control and protection systems for complex systems, say for process and nuclear systems, were built around valve-based technology and later employed electromagnetic relay logics. In the 1970s, solid-state technology changed the way protection and controls were built.
