Potential Beneficial Effects of Digitaria ciliaris Flower Absolute on the Wound Healing-Linked Activities of Fibroblasts and Keratinocytes

Planta Medica, 2020
Abstract Digitaria ciliaris is widely reported to be a problematic weed in agricultural areas and is mainly used as an indicator plant for the development of herbicides. However, its bioactivities on skin regeneration and wound healing have not been investigated. In the present study, we investigated the effects of D. ciliaris flower absolute

Postemergence Southern Crabgrass (Digitaria Ciliaris) Control with Sulfonylurea Herbicides

Weed Technology, 2008
Southern crabgrass is a major weed in turfgrass and it primarily is controlled through preemergence herbicide application. Separate studies were conducted to evaluate the efficacy of trifloxysulfuron and flazasulfuron alone and in tank mixtures for southern crabgrass control in bermudagrass as MSMA alternatives.

Digitaria ciliaris (southern crabgrass).

2021
Abstract As an annual weed, D. ciliaris depends on seed production for its spread. There is some post-harvest dormancy which may last several months. Germination then occurs at temperatures above 20°C and is perhaps greatest under fluctuating temperatures of 20 and 35°C (Holm et al., 1977).
