HiST: Histological Images Reconstruct Tumor Spatial Transcriptomics via MultiScale Fusion Deep Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
HiST, a multiscale deep learning framework, reconstructs spatially resolved gene expression profiles directly from histological images. It accurately identifies tumor regions, captures intratumoral heterogeneity, and predicts patient prognosis and immunotherapy response.

Material‐Induced Nuclear Deformation Controls Chromatin Architecture in Adipose Stem Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tuning cell and cytoskeleton mechanics modulated nuclear shape and heterochromatin organization in ASCs. Distinct cytoskeletal architectures induced nuclear morphologies from oblate to prolate ellipsoids. Large elongated cells with a structured actin cap exhibited high nuclear strain, driving nuclear envelope deformation and heterochromatin ...

Flow-Mediated Slowing as a Methodological Alternative to the Conventional Echo-Tracking Flow-Mediated Dilation Technique for the Evaluation of Endothelial Function: A Preliminary Report

open access: yesMayo Clinic Proceedings: Innovations, Quality & Outcomes, 2018
The Moens-Korteweg equation predicts changes in pulse wave velocity (PWV) after changes in arterial radius; therefore, an increase in arterial radius, as seen in a reactive hyperemia (RH) condition, should slow PWV over a given arterial segment.

On quasilinear Beltrami equations with restrictions on tangential dilatation

open access: yesUkrainian Mathematical Bulletin
We study quasilinear Beltrami equations, the complex coefficients of which depend on the unknown function. In terms of the so-called tangential dilatation, we have found conditions under which these equations have homeomorphic ACL-solutions. We have also found some conditions that ensure the existence of the corresponding continuous ACL-solutions.

Helix Alignment, Chevrons, and Edge Dislocations in Twist‐Bend Ferroelectric Nematics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The recently discovered twist‐bend ferroelectric nematic (NTBF) is the new member of the multiferroic family, representing a fluid with an oblique helicoidal (heliconical) periodic structure of spontaneous electric polarization. The work presents a thorough exploration of the material properties of this phase, how the periodic modulation of ...

DNA Nanoflower LYTACs Enable Efficient VEGF Degradation and Verteporfin Loading for Combined Therapy of Wet Age‐Related Macular Degeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An integrated approach that combines a DNA nanoflower VEGF degrader with photodynamic therapy is developed for the treatment of wet age‐related macular degeneration, which reduces the risk of VEGF reactivation‐induced CNV recurrence and minimizes the systemic side effects associated with photodynamic therapy.
