Differential transcendence criteria for second-order linear difference equations and elliptic hypergeometric functions [PDF]
We develop general criteria that ensure that any non-zero solution of a given second-order difference equation is differentially transcendental, which apply uniformly in particular cases of interest, such as shift difference equations, q-dilation ...

Metric-Affine Version of Myrzakulov F(R,T,Q,
We derive the full set of field equations for the metric-affine version of the Myrzakulov gravity model and also extend this family of theories to a broader one. More specifically, we consider theories whose gravitational Lagrangian is given by F(R,T,Q,T,

We proposed in this work the introduction of a new vision of stochastic processes through geometry induced by dilation. The dilation matrices of a given process are obtained by a composition of rotation matrices built in with respect to partial ...

Wavelet transform of the dilation equation [PDF]
AbstractIn this article we study the dilation equation f(x) = ∑h ch f (2x − h) in ℒ2(R) using a wavelet approach. We see that the structure of Multiresolution Analysis adapts very well to the study of scaling functions. The equation is reduced to an equation in a subspace of ℒ2(R) of much lower resolution.

A SINISTER VIEW OF DILATION EQUATIONS [PDF]
We present a technique for studying refinable functions which are compactly supported. Refinable functions satisfy dilation equations and this technique focuses on the implications of the dilation equation at the edges of the support of the refinable function.

A Dilation Invariance Method and the Stability of Inhomogeneous Wave Equations
We apply the method of a kind of dilation invariance to prove the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of the (inhomogeneous) wave equation with a source, u t t ( x , t ) − c 2 ▵ u ( x , t ) = f ( x , t ) , for a class of real-valued

An exact solution of the metric-affine gauge theory with dilation, shear, and spin charges [PDF]
The spacetime of the metric-affine gauge theory of gravity (MAG) encompasses {\it nonmetricity} and {\it torsion} as post-Riemannian structures. The sources of MAG are the conserved currents of energy-momentum and dilation, shear and spin.
