A Field-Theoretic Gravitodynamic Framework Consistent with General Relativity

open access: yesReports in Advances of Physical Sciences
We present a covariant field-theoretical model of gravitation based on a structural analogy with classical electrodynamics. The theory employs a four-potential formulation and introduces dynamic gravitational fields, including a gravitomagnetic component

Ti6Al4V‐Bioglass‐Copper Composites for Load‐Bearing Implants

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We have designed and manufactured a novel Ti64‐based composite by adding 45S5 bioglass (BG) and copper (Cu). Adding BG on titanium improves wear resistance and biocompatibility, whereas Cu addition improves mechanical strength while providing inherent lifelong bacterial resistance.

Schrodinger Equation in Dilated Frame

open access: yes, 2019
There has been interest in the form of the Schrodinger equation in different noninertial frames for many decades, especially the rotating frame. Recently, transforming from one frame to another is described by using Lorentz boosts followed by a nonrelativistic limit (1).

PiP‐Plex: A Particle‐in‐Particle System for Multiplexed Quantification of Proteins Secreted by Single Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Detecting proteins secreted by a single cell while retaining its viability remains challenging. A particles‐in‐particle (PiPs) system made by co‐encapsulating barcoded microparticles (BMPs) with a single cell inside an alginate hydrogel particle is introduced.

A Unified Algebraic Framework for Fuzzy Image Compression and Mathematical Morphology

open access: yes, 2009
In this paper we show how certain techniques of image processing, having different scopes, can be joined together under a common "algebraic roof"

Applications of Gegenbauer polynomial collocation method on the aspects of interfacial layer thickness and thermal conductivity of solid-liquid layer in time-dependent nanofluid flow induced by squeezing porous slider

open access: yesInternational Journal of Thermofluids
The investigation of nanofluid flow across a squeezing porous slider incorporating the Catteneo Christov heat flux, nanoparticle diameter and non-linear radiation is highly significant due to its relevance in modern engineering and industrial processes ...

The Cauchy Problem for the Vibrating Plate Equation in modulation spaces

open access: yes, 2011
The local solvability of the Cauchy problem for the nonlinear vibrating plate equation is showed in the framework of modulation spaces. In the opposite direction, it is proved that there is no local wellposedness in Wiener amalgam spaces even for the ...

Cholesterol‐DNA Origami Nanostructures for Synthetic Lipid Rafts Induce Early T Cell Activation Signals

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Here, we present a nanotechnology approach to construct synthetic lipid rafts on the live T cell membrane, leveraging a versatile DNA origami‐enabled platform named as the “cholesterol nano‐patch” (CNP). Our investigation highlights the effectiveness of DNA nanotechnology in exploring the impact of nanoscale arrangement of cholesterols on the ...

Discrete Scale Relativity

open access: yes, 2007
The possibility that global discrete dilation invariance is a fundamental symmetry principle of nature is explored. If the discrete self-similarity observed in nature is exact, then the Principle of General Covariance needs to be broadened in order to ...
