Synthesis and characterization of η5-tetramethylcyclopentadienyl hydrido-and -chloro-silyl-η1 -amido zirconium complexes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
The silylated tetramethylcyclopentadienes C5Me4(SiMeCl2)(SiMe3) (1) and C5Me4H(SiMeHCl) (3) were isolated by reaction of\ud their corresponding trimethylsilyltetramethylcyclopentadienyl and tetramethylcyclopentadienyl lithium salts with SiMeCl3 and\ud ...

Metallocene o-Phenylenebis(phenylphosphido) Chelates of Molybdenum and Tungsten [PDF]

open access: yes, 1988
The reaction of the metallocene dichlorides Cp2MCl2 (Cp = η5-C5H5; M = Mo, W) with equimolar amounts of dilithium-o-phenylenebis(phenylphosphide) 1,2-(LiPPh)2C6H4 yields the five-membered chelate complexes Cp2M[1,2-(PPh)2C6H4] (M = Mo.

Leaf trichomes can alleviate water deficit stress and maintain diurnal photosynthesis by increasing leaf wetness and water absorption in Metrosideros polymorpha

open access: yesPlant Species Biology, Volume 41, Issue 1, January 2026.
Leaf trichomes are often considered a key trait contributing to drought tolerance by increasing leaf wetness and enhancing foliar water uptake. However, their function has not been examined across a wide range of environmental conditions. Our field observations and manipulation experiments on Metrosideros polymorph—a species with trichomes that vary ...

A Human-Derived Monoclonal Antibody Targeting Extracellular Connexin Domain Selectively Modulates Hemichannel Function [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Connexin hemichannels, which are plasma membrane hexameric channels (connexons) composed of connexin protein protomers, have been implicated in a host of physiological processes and pathological conditions. A number of single point pathological mutations

Innovative Approach to Recycle Lithium‐Ion Battery Electrolytes via Sequential Chemical Processes

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 15, Issue 46, December 9, 2025.
A chemical separation method is developed to recycle and purify nonaqueous electrolytes from spent lithium‐ion batteries. The new process consists of a sequence of precipitation in tandem with each distillation and solvent‐assisted vacuum extraction to obtain high‐quality electrolyte precursors.

Blueberries Reduce Palm Oil‐Induced Metabolic Endotoxemia in an In Vitro Human Intestinal‐Immune Cell Model

open access: yesMolecular Nutrition &Food Research, Volume 69, Issue 24, December 2025.
Digested palm oil and LPS treatment on intestinal Caco‐2 cells results in palm oil‐induced LPS translocation across the intestinal cell monolayer and nuclear factor kappa B (NF‐κB) activation of basolateral macrophages. Interestingly, digested whole berries reduce the palm oil + LPS‐mediated NF‐κB activation in macrophages.

Dilithium manganese(II) catena-tetrakis(polyphosphate), Li2Mn(PO3)4

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2014
The poly-phosphate Li2Mn(PO3)4 was synthesized and its structure characterized from powder diffraction data by Averbuch-Pouchot & Durif [J. Appl. Cryst. (1972), 5, 307–308]. These authors showed that the structure of this phosphate is isotypic to that of

Fiddling the Twiddle Constants - Fault Injection Analysis of the Number Theoretic Transform

open access: yesTransactions on Cryptographic Hardware and Embedded Systems, 2023
In this work, we present the first fault injection analysis of the Number Theoretic Transform (NTT). The NTT is an integral computation unit, widely used for polynomial multiplication in several structured lattice-based key encapsulation mechanisms ...
