We report, for the first time, an external electric field (EEF) strategy to achieve co‐aggregation of conjugated polymer blends (i.e., poly(3‐butylthiophene) and poly[3,3'''‐dialkyl‐quaterthiophene]s) in the solution and thus their cocrystals in thin films, demonstrating cocrystal‐improved charge mobilities due to the synergy of two components ...

Fractal theory and scale change effect: application for studying soil porosity [PDF]
[Abstract] In this article the fractal theory and its application to soil structure and porosity is rewieved.Fractal geometry may provide a reliable description of soil structure, particularly in the case of heterogeneous soil. The rewiev illustrates how

Graph‐Theory Approach to Element Miscibility and Alloy Design
Graph and network theory enables pathway toward complex multiscale interactions between different elements for alloy design or interface engineering. Utilizing element's inherent properties and preferential interactivity, favorable mixed material formation, solubility and miscibility can be predicted.

Reconfigurable Acoustofluidic Microvortices for Selective Microcargo Delivery
This work introduces a frequency‐encoded, reconfigurable acoustofluidic system that overcomes the low throughput and poor selectivity of conventional micro‐delivery methods. By exploiting discrete microbubble resonances to program adaptive microvortex modes, the platform enables real‐time switching and selective guidance of microscale payloads through ...

A Laminating Strategy to Manyfold Enhance the Elastic Stretchability of Stretchable Electronics
We propose a laminating strategy that laminates a thick‐polymer layer onto the thin‐ribbon metallic structure. Using serpentine structures on soft and hard substrates as representative cases, this approach increases elastic stretchability by 3.5‐fold and 2.3‐fold.

Fractal dimension algorithms and their application to time series associated with natural phenomena
Chaotic invariants like the fractal dimensions are used to characterize non-linear time series. The fractal dimension is an important characteristic of systems, because it contains information about their geometrical structure at multiple scales. In this

On two-scale dimension and its applications
Dimension or scale is everything. When a thing is observed by different scales, different results can be obtained. Two scales are enough for most of practical problems, and a new definition of a two-scale dimension instead of the fractal dimension is ...
