Approximation of invariant measures for a class of maps with indifferent fixed points
Certain dynamical systems on the interval with neutrally stable repelling points admit invariant probability measures which are absolutely continuous with respect to Lebesgue measure.

Low‐voltage FIB‐SEM tomography combined with a image preprocessing pipeline improves phase contrast and enables reliable machine‐learning segmentation of conductive networks in lithium‐ion battery electrodes. Structural descriptors are extracted from segmented images, done semimanually and automated, and compared.

Determinism Is Ontic, Determinability is Epistemic [PDF]
Philosophical discourse traditionally distinguishes between ontology and epistemology and generally enforces this distinction by keeping the two subject areas separated.

Dimension and invertibility of hyperbolic endomorphisms with singularities
We introduce and study a class of endomorphisms which are piecewise smooth and have hyperbolic attractors. We prove the existence of SBR measures and develop the stable manifold theory and ergodic theory of such maps.

Two-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic turbulence in the limits of infinite and vanishing magnetic Prandtl number [PDF]
LAKB was supported by an EPSRC post-graduate studentship. We study both theoretically and numerically two-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic turbulence at infinite and zero magnetic Prandtl number $Pm$ (and the limits thereof), with an emphasis on solution ...

A Dislocation Perspective on Strength and Toughness in Ceramics
Dislocations in ceramics enjoy a long but yet under‐appreciated history. The three research waves for dislocations in ceramics highlight the topic evolution over the last 90 years. This review focuses on the impact of dislocation on strength and toughness in ceramics.

Comparison of Triply Periodic Minimal Surface Energy Absorbers Under Uniaxial Compressive Loading
This study investigates LCD 3D printed Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) structures as mechanical energy absorbers. By comparing various base designs and layered combinations under uniaxial compression, it identifies that a Diamond‐Gyroid sandwich structure offers superior performance.

Representation theory of dynamical systems
In physics, experiments form the bridge connecting theory to reality. This bridge is often quite narrow: one typically only records one of the myriad variables responsible for generating a complicated dynamical behavior.
