Volume staging for arteriovenous malformation SRS treatment using VMAT
Abstract Volume staging involves dividing the target volume into smaller parts and treating each part separately. In this study, the feasibility of volume‐staged stereotactic radiosurgery (VS‐SRS) on a linear accelerator using volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) and a frameless patient positioning system is investigated.

Abstract Purpose To evaluate the impact of various noise reduction algorithms and template matching parameters on the accuracy of markerless tumor tracking (MTT) using dual‐energy (DE) imaging. Methods A Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator was used to acquire a series of alternating 60 and 120 kVp images (over a 180° arc) using fast kV switching, on ...

A new measure for assessment of clustering based on kernel density estimation [PDF]
A new clustering accuracy measure is proposed to determine the unknown number of clusters and to assess the quality of clustering of a data set given in any dimensional space. Our validity index applies the classical nonparametric univariate kernel density estimation method to the interpoint distances computed between the members of data.

Anthropometric accuracy of three-dimensional average faces compared to conventional facial measurements [PDF]
AbstractThis study aimed to evaluate and compare the accuracy of average faces constructed by different methods. Original three-dimensional facial images of 26 adults in Chinese ethnicity were imported into Di3DView and MorphAnalyser for image processing.
