Data processing error accumulation of accelerator alignment control network

open access: yesHe jishu, 2021
BackgroundCompared with 2D+1D adjustment, three dimensional adjustment has a more rigorous theoretical basis. However, when the unconstrained three dimensional adjustment is applied to the observation values processing of the accelerator alignment ...

RaMBat: Accurate identification of medulloblastoma subtypes from diverse data sources with severe batch effects

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
To integrate multiple transcriptomics data with severe batch effects for identifying MB subtypes, we developed a novel and accurate computational method named RaMBat, which leveraged subtype‐specific gene expression ranking information instead of absolute gene expression levels to address batch effects of diverse data sources.

Statistical Mechanics of High-Dimensional Inference

open access: yes, 2016
To model modern large-scale datasets, we need efficient algorithms to infer a set of $P$ unknown model parameters from $N$ noisy measurements. What are fundamental limits on the accuracy of parameter inference, given finite signal-to-noise ratios ...

Interplay between RNA‐protein interactions and RNA structures in gene regulation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Methodological advances in mapping transcriptome‐wide RNA‐protein interactions and RNA structures have started to uncover the potential of RNP conformations in gene regulation. Competing RNA–RNA, RNA‐protein and protein–protein interactions shape the compaction and function of RNPs throughout their lifetime and may provide novel therapeutic targets in ...

Overview of molecular signatures of senescence and associated resources: pros and cons

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Cells can enter a stress response state termed cellular senescence that is involved in various diseases and aging. Detecting these cells is challenging due to the lack of universal biomarkers. This review presents the current state of senescence identification, from biomarkers to molecular signatures, compares tools and approaches, and highlights ...

A new sensor system for simultaneously detecting the position and incident angle of a light spot [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
The present paper describes a newly devised sensor, which has the ability to detect the two-dimensional position and the one-dimensional angle of a light spot simultaneously. Ordinary laser-based measurement systems utilize CCD or PSD sensors.
