A Gut‐Brain Axis Underlying Succinate‐Associated Compulsive‐Like Behavior
Gut‐derived succinate is associated with an excitatory‐inhibitory imbalance in dmPFC glutamatergic neurons, involving microglial SUCNR1 activation and vagal afferent signaling via upregulated gut 5‐HT4 receptors along the DVC‐CeA‐dmPFC circuit, changes that are linked to excessive compulsive‐like behavior.

Bilateral temporal accelerated 40‐Hz tACS improves cognitive function in patients with Alzheimer's disease. Resting‐state fNIRS identifies treatment‐related increases in frontotemporoparietal functional connectivity, which are associated with cognitive improvement. ABSTRACT The temporal lobes are key hubs for memory and cognition.

Sensor-driven lighting control with illumination and dimming constraints
\u3cp\u3eWe consider daylight and occupancy adaptation in a lighting system with sensor-integrated luminaires. Each luminaire has an occupancy sensor and a light sensor and communicates with a central controller.

Coexisting DCIS and IDC samples are profiled using spatial transcriptomics, single‐cell RNA sequencing, and single‐cell DNA sequencing. Integrative multi‐omics analysis reveals distinct malignant epithelial and microenvironmental features between DCIS and IDC, which are further validated using Xenium and multiplex immunohistochemistry.

Coronal dimming and the coronal mass ejection onset
A set of five observations of extreme-ultraviolet (EUV) coronal dimming associated with coronal mass ejection (CME) activity is examined. Using spectroscopic data, plasma characteristics across a broad range of temperatures from 20 000 K to 2 million K ...

This work employs a hybrid hole transport layer to enhance hole transport efficiency, resulting in improved performance for the final device. It achieves an external quantum efficiency of 6.68%, a circularly polarized electroluminescence asymmetry factor of 0.026, and a high luminance of 14,370 cd/cm2, representing the highest luminance reported to ...

Integrating single‐cell and spatial transcriptomics reveals human ventricular septal defect (VSD) as a disease of microenvironmental insufficiency and structural remodeling arrest. Attenuated endothelial‐fibroblast crosstalk, alongside downregulated THBS1/TGF‐β1 and MMP2 signaling networks, impairs the endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndoMT) and

Sequential multicolor fluorescence imaging in dynamic microsystems is constrained by acquisition speed and excitation dose. This study introduces a real‐time framework to reconstruct spectrally separated channels from reduced cross‐channel acquisitions (frames containing mixed spectral contributions).

This article investigates how persistent homology, persistent Laplacians, and persistent commutative algebra reveal complementary geometric, topological, and algebraic invariants or signatures of real‐world data. By analyzing shapes, synthetic complexes, fullerenes, and biomolecules, the article shows how these mathematical frameworks enhance ...
