A GeoNode-Based Platform for an Effective Exploitation of Advanced DInSAR Measurements [PDF]

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2019
This work presents the development of an efficient tool for managing, visualizing, analysing, and integrating with other data sources, the deformation time-series obtained by applying the advanced differential interferometric synthetic aperture radar (DInSAR) techniques.

Inventorying slope movements in an Alpine environment using DInSAR [PDF]

open access: yesEarth Surface Processes and Landforms, 2014
Differential SAR Interferometry (DInSAR) is a technique that can be used to detect and characterize slope movements. It is investigated here as a tool for establishing a detailed overview of complex slope movements at a regional scale in an Alpine ...

Dinsar measurement of soil moisture

IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, 2003
Differential interferometric sythetic aperture radar (DInSAR) measurements using the European Remote Sensing 2 (ERS-2) satellite in a high-plains region of Colorado show intriguing spatial variations in millimeter-scale path-length change that may correspond to variations in soil moisture of a few percent by volume, in both farm fields and uncultivated

Dynamic deformation retrieval for DInSAR data

2011 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2011
This study presents a dynamic deformation retrieval method for differential synthetic aperture radar interferometry (DInSAR) processing. Detailed nonlinear displacement parameters are modeled and estimated for capturing the developing trends of ground movement both in time and space.

DInSAR measurements of reclaimed costal land

IGARSS 2003. 2003 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium. Proceedings (IEEE Cat. No.03CH37477), 2004
The subsidence rate in a reclaimed coastal land has been estimated using JERS-1 L-band SAR two-pass differential interferometry (DInSAR). Owing to the severe temporal decorrelation induced by frequent soil loading and to the intense deformation gradient, the L-band was effective for observation of subsidence in the reclaimed land.

Automatic Detection of Surface Deformations by DInSAR

Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Telecommunications and Remote Sensing, 2017
Due to the noise of various sources present in the interferograms and the differential interferograms, the detection of surface deformations by differential interferometry (DInSAR) is thereby a difficult and complicated task. However, the adoption of a visual inspection method for the measured results interpretation can lead to false interpretations ...

An Underground-Mining Detection System Based on DInSAR

IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, 2013
Underground mining easily causes casualties, and illegal mining is a major contributor to this issue. It is a challenge to locate and differentiate illegal mines from approved mines over a vast area. Over the past few years, our research in satellite differential radar interferometry (DInSAR) to monitor underground-mine-induced surface subsidence has ...
