Hydrogel‐Based 3D‐Printable Stretchable Pressure Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
We present a carbon‐black‐functionalized double‐network granular hydrogel (DNGH) pressure sensor capable of detecting pressures from 200 Pa, equivalent to a light finger touch, up to 500 kPa. The sensor exhibits signal drifts below 3.5% after 800 cycles and response times around 80 ms. Leveraging this broad sensing range, we 3D print this material into

Analyzing the on-state power dissipation analysis in staircase diode-clamped multi-level inverter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
In renewable power generators, because of high initial cost and duty cycle of systems, efficiency parameter has an important place. For this reason, line frequency controlled multilevel inverters are one of most proper choices for renewable power ...

Transducers Across Scales and Frequencies: A System‐Level Framework for Multiphysics Integration and Co‐Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

Novel Filters Based Operational Scheme for Five-Level Diode-Clamped Inverters in Microgrid

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research, 2020
This paper introduces a new operational scheme for several multilevel (five-level diode-clamped) inverters in the microgrid. The presented operational scheme has a central structure (different from the distributed controllers for droop schemes) to ...

Self‐Soldering, Stretchable and Self‐Healing Liquid Metal Elastomer Interconnections for Soft Electronics Platforms

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A self‐healing and electrically conductive liquid metal elastomer enables robust self‐soldering of surface mount devices for soft electronics. Photothermally activated conductive pathways, strong pressure‐sensitive adhesion, and stable package‐integrated contacts provide high conductivity and extreme stretchability.
