Nonconventional Diode Clamped Multilevel Inverter with Reduced Number of Switches

open access: yesIraqi Journal for Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2020
The conventional multilevel inverter (MLI) is divided into three types: diode clamped MLI, cascade H Bridge MLI and flying capacitor MLI. The main disadvantage of these types is the higher required number of components when the number of the levels increases and this results in more switching losses, system higher cost, more complex of control circuit ...

Emergent Freestanding Complex Oxide Membranes for Multifunctional Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 16, 17 March 2026.
This review surveys freestanding oxide membranes and covers fabrication and three pathways for studies and devices: strain‐free and strained membranes, and van der Waals‐integrated heterostructures. We show how coupled oxide responses map onto these routes and cross‐couple to expand behaviors.

A Rotor Voltage Compensation Method for Transient Voltage Dip in Grid‐Connected Power Systems With A High Proportion of Renewable Energy Under Ramp‐Type Gradual Disturbance

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2026.
This paper proposes a doubly fed induction generator rotor voltage compensation control to address transient voltage dips in renewable‐rich grids. By compensating for rotor electromotive forces, it suppresses current fluctuations and surges during asymmetrical faults.
