Five dipeptidase activities in the mucosa of the gastrointestinal tract from 25 patients between 22 and 80 years of age were determined. The influence of pH and bivalent metal ions on the various activities was studied. Equally low activities were found in the stomach and the large intestine.

Genetic control of dipeptidase in the Triticeae
Theoretical and Applied Genetics, 1987Isoelectric focusing has been employed to elucidate the genetic control of a series of dipeptidase isozymes in wheat and its relatives. The phenotype of wheat shows four bands, three of which are shown by aneuploid analysis to be controlled by the loci Dip-A1, Dip-B1 and Dip-D1 on chromosome arms 6AL, 6BL and 6DL, respectively.
