Millipedes of Cyprus (Myriapoda: Diplopoda)

The artificial soil compound influence that can appear in case of a postanthropogenic land reforming is experimentally investigated. Such an influence affects the soil invertebrates (millipede myriapods as an example). Changes in the biological activity of soil compounds under the influence of invertebrate-saprobes are analyzed.

More than ten years ago, I published some notes on the taxonomy of Surinam millipedes. My intention then was to describe and record in a series of papers the material of Diplopoda in the collections of the Amsterdam and Leiden Museums, and to give a survey of the millipede fauna of Surinam.
