[Enzyme activity of metacercariae in the genus Diplostomum (Trematoda, Diplostomidae)].
Parazitologiia, 1984Studies were conducted of the content of ferments with which metacercariae of trematodes of the genus Diplostomum affect the tissues of the host's crystalline lens. The following ferments were found in exudates of metacercariae: pepsin, cathepsin, hyaluronidase and lipase. Their activity depends to a great extent on temperature. Considerable changes in

The article provides the description of the Diplostomum rutili Razmashkin, 1969 cercariae from spontaneously infected crimean population mollusks Lymnaea stagnalis Linnaeus, 1758 and the metacercariae experimentally obtained in the juveniles of the roach, Rutilus rutilus Linnaeus, 1758. Some distinguishing features of the cercaria are noted.

[Behavioral responses of Diplostomum chromatophora (Trematoda, Diplostomidae) cercariae to light].
Parazitologiia, 2015Behavioral responses of D. chromatophora cercariae to light were studied in laboratory experiments. Cercariae demonstrated positive phototaxis that was especially pronoun- ced during the first hour of cercarial free life in the environment. After 6 h, the photoreac- tion is weakened but it retains the character of positive phototaxis.
