Interfacial Dipole in Organic and Perovskite Solar Cells.

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2020
Incorporating dipole interlayer has been one of the most crucial interfacial engineering strategies in organic and perovskite solar cells. Interfacial dipole brings steep shifts in electronic band structure across interfaces and thus effectively tunes ...

Scattering of a dipole by a dipole

Solid State Communications, 1982
Abstract The spectrum of eigenvalues of the Schrodinger equation with a dipole-dipole potential is not bounded below. An appropriate cut-off leads to a correct low energy problem. Furthermore, it is shown that in polar coordinates the corresponding Schrodinger equation is separable for two spins 1/2.

Discrete-Dipole Approximation For Scattering Calculations

, 1994
The discrete-dipole approximation (DDA) for scattering calculations, including the relationship between the DDA and other methods, is reviewed. Computational considerations, i.e., the use of complex-conjugate gradient algorithms and fast-Fourier ...

Rectangular dipoles in the discrete dipole approximation

Journal of Quantitative Spectroscopy and Radiative Transfer, 2015
Abstract We performed a comprehensive analysis of the extension of the discrete dipole approximation (DDA) to a rectangular cuboid lattice of dipoles. The theoretical analysis of two different approaches, based either on the point–dipole interaction or on the integration of Green׳s tensor (IGT), was performed starting with the rigorous integral ...

Resonant dipole-dipole interaction in a cavity

Physical Review A, 1995
Resonant dipole-dipole interaction (RDDI) in a Fabry-P\'erot cavity is studied by the mode-expansion method. It is shown that the RDDI depends upon three factors: the length of the cavity, the positions of molecules, and the polarization of dipoles.

Magnetic field of a dipole and the dipole–dipole interaction

European Journal of Physics, 2007
With a data-acquisition system and sensors commercially available, it is easy to determine magnetic fields produced by permanent magnets and to study the dipole–dipole interaction for different separations and angular positions of the magnets. For sufficiently large distances, the results confirm the 1/R3 law for the magnetic field and the 1/R4 law for

Dipole−Dipole Interactions in Nanoparticle Superlattices

Nano Letters, 2007
Nanoparticles often self-assemble into hexagonal-close-packed (hcp) structures although it is predicted to be less stable than face-centered-cubic (fcc) packing in hard-sphere models. In addition to close-packed fcc and hcp superlattices, we observe formation of nonclose-packed simple-hexagonal (sh) superlattices of nearly spherical PbS, PbSe, and ...

Enhanced Bandwidth and Directivity of a Dual-Mode Compressed High-Order Mode Stub-Loaded Dipole Using Characteristic Mode Analysis

IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2019
A dual-mode compressed dipole resonating at high-order modes is proposed to enhance bandwidth and directivity by loading the two dipole arms with two stubs.
