Entanglement Switch for Dipole Arrays [PDF]
We propose a new entanglement switch of qubits consisting of electric dipoles, oriented along or against an external electric field and coupled by the electric dipole-dipole interaction.

A pore tuning strategy to amplify the multi‐site MOF‐SO2 interactions is proposed to achieve an enhanced trace SO2 capture and chemiresistive sensing in highly stable isostructural DMOFs by annelating benzene rings. This work provides a facile strategy to achieve tailor‐made stable MOF materials for specific multifunctional applications.

Age-related changes in EEG signal using triple correlation values
The alpha rhythm in human electroencephalography (EEG) is known to decrease in frequency with age. Previous study has shown that elderly individuals with dementia exhibit higher S values (spatial variability) and SD values (temporal variability) in the ...

Dipole-dipole interaction of Josephson diamagnetic moments
The role of dipole-dipole interaction between Josephson diamagnetic moments is considered within a model system of two clusters (each cluster contains three weakly connected superconducting grains).

Molecular simulation of the phase behavior of noble gases using accurate two-body and three-body intermolecular potentials [PDF]
Gibbs ensemble Monte Carlo simulations are reported for the vapor- liquid phase coexistence of argon, krypton, and xenon. The calculations employ accurate two-body potentials in addition to contributions from three-body dispersion interactions resulting ...

Light‐Controlled Reversible Coassembly of Hybrid Functional Nanostructures
Light‐responsive hybrid nanostructures are formed by coassembling azobenzene‐ and PAH‐functionalized nanoparticles through reversible an tunable π interactions. The system enables tunable coupling between distinct components such as gold and magnetite or carbon nanotubes, producing switchable optical and magnetic properties under light and magnetic ...

Splitting of the Dipole and Spin-Dipole Resonances
Cross sections for the 90,92,94Zr(p,n) reactions were measured at energies of 79.2 and 119.4 MeV. A phenomenological model was developed to describe the variation with bombarding energy of the position of the L=1 peak observed in these and other (p,n ...

Electric control of magnetic tunnel junctions offers a path to drastically reduce the energy requirements of the device. Electric field control of magnetization can be realized in a multitude of ways. These mechanisms can be integrated into existing spintronic devices to further reduce the operational energy.
