Square-Shaped Circularly Polarized MIMO Dipole Antenna With Dual-Sense Characteristic for 5G Application

open access: yesIEEE Access
A new approach of dual-sense circularly polarized (CP) MIMO dipole antenna design is presented in this study, which is suitable for Sub-6 GHz 5G applications, explicitly targeting the n78 frequency band (3.3–3.8 GHz).

Oscillations of Echo Amplitude in Glasses in a Magnetic Field Induced by Nuclear Dipole-Dipole Interaction

open access: yes, 2009
The effect of a magnetic field on the dipole echo amplitude in glasses (at temperatures of about 10 mK) induced by the dipole-dipole interaction of nuclear spins has been theoretically studied.

Design of controlled RF switch for beam steering antenna array [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
YesA printed dipole antenna integrated with a duplex RF switch used for mobile base station antenna beam steering is presented. A coplanar waveguide to coplanar strip transition was adopted to feed the printed dipole.

Composition and Resulting Band Alignment at the TiO2/InP Heterointerface: A Fundamental Study Combining Photoemission Spectroscopy and Theory

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The chemical composition and band alignment are systematically investigated at the TiO2/InP heterointerface. Thin TiO2 films are deposited by ALD on atomically ordered, P‐terminated p‐InP(100). By combining UPS, XPS, and ab initio molecular dynamics, the atomistic structure and electronic alignment are revealed.

From the meaning to the world: the catasemiosis

open access: yesSign Systems Studies
We now know that meaning arises from an initial interaction between the bodies of living beings and stimuli from the outside world. This process, which leads to the development of semiotic structures, is known as anasemiosis. However, the description of

The intensity correlation function of "blinking" quantum systems

open access: yes, 2002
Explicit expressions are determined for the photon correlation function of ``blinking'' quantum systems, i.e. systems with different types of fluorescent periods.

Bimetallic Nanoparticles as Cocatalysts for Photocatalytic Hydrogen Production

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Recent developments have introduced bimetallic nanoparticles as effective cocatalysts for photocatalytic systems. This review explores the rapidly expanding research on bimetallic cocatalysts for photocatalytic production of hydrogen, emphasizing the creation of carrier‐selective contacts, localized surface plasmon resonance effects, methodologies for ...

Microscopic Theory of Damon-Eshbach Modes in Ferromagnetic Films

open access: yes, 2000
The surface spin wave branches in ferromagnetic films are studied using a microscopic theory which considers both magnetic dipole-dipole and Heisenberg exchange interactions.

Color Dipole Systematics of the Diffraction Slope in Diffractive Photo- and Electroproduction of Vector Mesons [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
We present the first evaluation of the color dipole diffraction slope from the data on diffractive photo- and electroproduction of vector mesons. The energy and dipole size dependence of the found dipole diffraction slope are consistent with the color ...

Low‐Symmetry Weyl Semimetals: A Path to Ideal Topological States

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a theoretical framework for realizing ideal Weyl semimetals, where Weyl nodes are well‐isolated at the Fermi level. The approach is exemplified in the low‐symmetry material Cu2SnSe3, which exhibits tunable topological phases, current‐induced orbital magnetization, and a strong circular photogalvanic effect, making it a promising ...
