LiF‐rich solid electrolyte interphases in lithium metal batteries are redefined as controllable nanostructured building blocks rather than homogeneous protective films. This review shows how LiF distribution, grain boundaries, and heterogeneous interfaces govern electron blocking and Li ion transport, and compares fluorinated electrolytes, artificial ...

Two‐dimensional CuInP2S6 nanosheets are incorporated into a P(VDF‐TrFE) matrix to induce polarization‐cooperative ferroelectric coupling. The resulting P(VDF‐TrFE)/CuInP2S6 hybrid film exhibits reinforced ferroelectric ordering and reduced coercive electric fields compared with pristine P(VDF‐TrFE).

An ultrasound‐activatable piezoelectric hydrogel reprograms chondrocyte mitochondrial epigenetics via the mTOR/GATD3A axis, clearing damaged mitochondria and alleviating osteoarthritis progression in both mouse models and human cartilage explants. ABSTRACT The avascular nature of cartilage hinders drug delivery for osteoarthritis (OA) therapy.

Antenna factors of dipole and monopole antennas
Proceedings of 20th Biennial Conference on Precision Electromagnetic Measurements, 2002Antenna factors of dipole antennas in the frequency range 20 MHz to 600 MHz have been determined to an uncertainty of /spl plusmn/0.1 dB (95%CL) and of monopole antennas in the range 10 MHz to 100 MHz to an uncertainty of /spl plusmn/0.15 dB. This leads to an advance in the precision with which electric field strength of free-space signals can be ...

Modified folded dipole antenna
Proceedings of the International Conference & Workshop on Emerging Trends in Technology - ICWET '11, 2011This paper describes experimentally how a folded dipole antenna is better in performance than a simple dipole antenna and also describes an alternate way to design folded dipole antenna compatible with loop antenna to generate circular polarized wave.

Proceedings of IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 2002
The concept of extending the operating bandwidth of a dipole has been investigated, and two bandwidth extension approaches were studied. The first approach involves the use of parasitic elements to physically change the length of the dipole. The second approach involves capacitively loading a dipole via varactor diodes to produce a travelling-wave ...

Compact dipole antenna for implantable devices
2014 International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation Conference Proceedings, 2014A miniaturized implantable dipole antenna is presented for industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) (2.4–2.48 GHz) applications. The proposed antenna consists of one pair of folded arms and a T-shaped tuning stub. Whole structure is printed on an FR4 substrate with dimensions of 11×6×0.8 mm3 and suitable for medical applications.
