A plasma receiving dipole antenna
Plasma Physics Reports, 2010Results from experimental studies of a short-wave plasma dipole transceiver antenna are presented. The efficiency of the plasma receiving antenna is estimated, and the optimal frequency range for excitation and reception under the given experimental conditions is determined.

Omnidirectional Planar Folded Dipole Antenna
IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2004An omnidirectional planar antenna comprising two back-to-back folded dipoles printed on a dielectric substrate is presented. A constructed prototype suitable for WLAN operation in the 5-GHz band, such as the 5.2-GHz (5150-5350 MHz) and 5.8-GHz (5725-5875 GHz) bands, is demonstrated.

Antenna factors of an off-resonant dipole antenna
2012 Conference on Precision electromagnetic Measurements, 2012An off-resonant antenna, such as a shortened dipole is widely used in electromagnetic compatibility measurements due to compactness. The antenna factor of the shorten dipole antenna is ordinary calibrated by comparing that of the standard antenna. However, considerable errors are introduced by applying this method with an insufficient separation due to

Transient Response of a Dipole Antenna
Journal of Mathematical Physics, 1962The transient current in a long dipole antenna excited by a step-function voltage across an infinitesimal center gap has recently been calculated by Wu. A simpler derivation of Wu's result is given using double Fourier transformation.

Combined Fractal Dipole Wire Antenna
2007 Loughborough Antennas and Propagation Conference, 2007In today's world of expanding wireless communications, there is increasing need for more compact, multiband, and moderate gain antennas for portable communications systems to respond to the great demand for both military and commercial communications systems. Fractal antenna designs can assist in meeting these design requirements. This paper introduces
