A New and Simple Design Method for End-Fire Dipole Antenna Array and Three Two-Element 24 GHz Planar End-Fire Dipole Antenna Arrays

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
For an RF system, a high-gain antenna helps to improve the equivalent isotropic radiated power (EIRP) of the transmitter and an end-fire antenna array helps to improve the directivity (D) and half power beam width (HP) of the antenna.

One‐Step Curcumin‐Mediated Multiphoton Lithography for Bioactive 3D Scaffolds

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Curcumin‐mediated multiphoton lithography enables one‐step fabrication of highly architected complex gelatin methacryloyl scaffolds by exploiting curcumin as a multifunctional bioactive photoinitiator. The resulting 3D structures support mesenchymal stem cell adhesion, proliferation, and migration, while exhibiting dual antibacterial activity through ...

Circularly Polarized Wideband Uniplanar Crossed-Dipole Antenna With Folded Striplines and Rectangular Stubs

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
A circularly polarized (CP) wideband uniplanar crossed-dipole antenna is presented in this paper. The antenna constitutes a pair of identical crossed-dipole arms printed on the same plane of a dielectric substrate. Each crossed-dipole component is a pair

Intrinsic Interfacial Energy Alignment Enables ETL‐Free Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Molecular orientation of the small‐molecule donor BTR‐Cl induces a vacuum‐level shift that pins the Fermi level at ∼4.4 eV at the active layer/Ag interface, enabling Ohmic contact formation without an electron transport layer. This strategy is extended to ternary PM6:Y6:BTR‐Cl devices, achieving an ETL‐free efficiency of 18.6% with enhanced operational

Self‐Assembled Lipids as Soft Dielectrics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Self‐assembled lipid bilayers serve as soft dielectric materials for ultrathin electronics. Using liquid‐metal parallel‐plate junctions, the capacitance and dielectric breakdown of dehydrated lipid films are characterized. Dielectric behavior is controlled by lipid molecular structure, cholesterol content, and assembly conditions, providing molecular ...

Disentangling Bulk and Surface Contributions to Charge and Discharge Fading in High‐Voltage LiCoO2

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
High‐voltage operation of LiCoO2 accelerates capacity fading through bulk and surface degradation. By introducing a LiTaO3 coating to selectively suppress surface degradation, bulk and surface contributions to charge and discharge fading are decoupled.
