In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.

Towards an algebraic method of solar cycle prediction
We discuss the potential use of an algebraic method to compute the value of the solar axial dipole moment at solar minimum, widely considered to be the most reliable precursor of the activity level in the next solar cycle.

Screening and antiscreening in fullerene-like cages: Dipole-field amplification with ionic nanocages
The successful synthesis of endohedral complexes consisting of nanoscale carbon cages that can encapsulate small molecules has been a remarkable accomplishment since these systems are ideal models to investigate how confinement effects can induce changes

Composite magnetic dark matter and the 130 GeV line
We propose an economical model to explain the apparent 130 GeV gamma ray peak, found in the Fermi/LAT data, in terms of dark matter annihilation through a dipole moment interaction. The annihilating dark matter particles represent a subdominant component,

Neutron Electric Dipole Moment and Tensor Charges from Lattice QCD. [PDF]
We present lattice QCD results on the neutron tensor charges including, for the first time, a simultaneous extrapolation in the lattice spacing, volume, and light quark masses to the physical point in the continuum limit.

This study uncovers the unexplored role of intermolecular interactions in multiphoton absorption in coordination polymers. By analyzing [Zn2tpda(DMA)2(DMF)0.3], it shows how the electronic coupling of the chromophores and confinement in the MOF enhance two‐and three‐photon absorption.

All-Optical Sensing of the Components of the Internal Local Electric Field in Proteins
Here, we present a new all-optical method of interrogation of the internal electric field vector inside proteins. The method is based on experimental evaluation of the permanent dipole moment change upon excitation and the pure electronic transition ...

Revised experimental upper limit on the electric dipole moment of the neutron [PDF]
We present for the first time a detailed and comprehensive analysis of the experimental results that set the current world sensitivity limit on the magnitude of the electric dipole moment (EDM) of the neutron.

This study uncovers a new switching mechanism in HfO2 and ZrO2, where the absence of a non‐polar layer along the a‐direction induces interaction between polar layers. Consequently, the switching barriers for growth are lower than those for nucleation in this direction, leading to a size‐dependent coercive field that matches experimental observations ...
