High‐Pressure Modulation of Breathing Kagome Lattice: Cascade of Lifshitz Transitions and Evolution of the Electronic Structure

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
External pressure directly tunes the breathing distortion of the kagome lattice in Fe3Sn2, suppressing it near 15 GPa and reversing it at higher pressures. This structural modulation drives a cascade of Lifshitz transitions, reconstructs the Fermi surface, strengthens electronic correlations and carrier localization, and modifies ultrafast electron ...

Generalised Dirac-Schrödinger operators and the Callias Theorem

open access: yesForum of Mathematics, Sigma
We consider generalised Dirac-Schrödinger operators, consisting of a self-adjoint elliptic first-order differential operator $\mathcal {D}$ with a skew-adjoint ‘potential’ given by a (suitable) family of unbounded operators.

The index of a Ginsparg–Wilson Dirac operator [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
A novel feature of a Ginsparg–Wilson lattice Dirac operator is discussed. Unlike the Dirac operator for massless fermions in the continuum, this lattice Dirac operator does not possess topological zero modes for any topologically-nontrivial background ...

From Sensing Mechanisms to System Co‐Design: Graphene‐Based Sensors and Readout Circuits

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review establishes a unified PS–EQ–RF framework linking graphene sensing mechanisms, native electrical outputs, and output‐specific readout circuits. Voltage‐, current‐, resistance‐, and capacitance‐type sensing systems are systematically classified to guide architecture selection, low‐noise design, system co‐design, and practical integration ...

Decomposition of the twisted Dirac operator

open access: yes, 2018
The classical Dirac operator is a conformally invariant first order differential operator mapping spinor-valued functions to the same space, where the spinor space is to be interpreted as an irreducible representation of the spin group.

Disorder Driven Anisotropic Nonlinear Hall Effect in the Kagome Metal YbCo6Ge6 at Room Temperature

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The intrinsic structural disorder and short‐range correlated motifs in the kagome metal YbCo6Ge6 constitute the primary mechanism for a robust and anisotropic nonlinear Hall effect (NLHE). This effect is sustained across a wide temperature range, achieving a nonlinear responsivity of up to ∼4.5 × 10−3 m/V at 70 K, higher than known disordered and ...

A Kastler-Kalau-Walze Type Theorem and the Spectral Action for Perturbations of Dirac Operators on Manifolds with Boundary

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
We prove a Kastler-Kalau-Walze type theorem for perturbations of Dirac operators on compact manifolds with or without boundary. As a corollary, we give two kinds of operator-theoretic explanations of the gravitational action on boundary.

NbN Broadband Plasmonic Absorbers for Efficient Hot‐Carrier Injection Toward Improved Solar‐to‐Hydrogen Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Niobium nitride (NbN) broadband plasmonic metasurface absorbers provide an efficient platform for solar‐energy conversion through hot‐carrier injection. Quasi‐epitaxial NbN features a low work function of 4.0 eV, reducing the interfacial injection barrier and facilitating charge transfer into adjacent photocatalysts.

Probabilistic Computing via Gate‐Tunable Random Telegraph Noise

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Intrinsic random telegraph noise in metal–oxide–semiconductor field‐effect transistors is harnessed to create gate‐tunable probabilistic bits. By modulating carrier‐trapping dynamics, the device produces stochastic binary outputs with a continuous bias‐to‐probability transfer.

Inverse Nodal Problems for Dirac-Type Integro-Differential System with Boundary Conditions Polynomially Dependent on the Spectral Parameter

open access: yesCumhuriyet Science Journal, 2019
In this work, we study the inverse nodal problemfor Dirac type integro-differential operator with the boundary conditionsdependent spectral parameter polynomially.
