Matrix model and Yukawa couplings on the noncommutative torus
The IKKT model is proposed as a non-perturbative formulation of superstring theory. We propose a Dirac operator on the noncommutative torus, which is consistent with the IKKT model, based on noncommutative geometry.

Band Structures of Symmetrical Graphene Superlattice with Cells of three Regions
We study the electronic band structures of massless Dirac fermions in symmetrical graphene superlattice with cells of three regions. Using the transfer matrix method, we explicitly determine the dispersion relation in terms of different physical ...

TANGENT DIRAC STRUCTURES AND SUBMANIFOLDS [PDF]
We write down the local equations that characterize the submanifolds N of a Dirac manifold M which have a normal bundle that is either a coisotropic or an isotropic submanifold of TM endowed with the tangent Dirac structure. In the Poisson case, these formulas once again prove a result of Xu: the submanifold N has a normal bundle which is a ...

Fast‐Responding O2 Gas Sensor Based on Luminescent Europium Metal‐Organic Frameworks (MOF‐76)
Luminescent MOF‐76 materials based on Eu(III) and mixed Eu(III)/Y(III) show rapid and reversible changes in emission intensity in response to O2 with very short response times. The effect is based on triplet quenching of the linker ligands that act as photosensitizers. Average emission lifetimes of a few milliseconds turn out to be mostly unaffected by

Courant algebroid without constraints on fluxes on its Dirac structures
We examine the standard Courant bracket and its extensions, defined by twists with different O(D,D) transformations relevant to string theory. We analyze Dirac structures on these Courant algebroids and derive the constraints they impose on fluxes.

MOFs and COFs in Electronics: Bridging the Gap between Intrinsic Properties and Measured Performance
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold promise for advanced electronics. However, discrepancies in reported electrical conductivities highlight the importance of measurement methodologies. This review explores intrinsic charge transport mechanisms and extrinsic factors influencing performance, and critically ...

Spin and Pseudospin Symmetry in Generalized Manning-Rosen Potential
Spin and pseudospin symmetric Dirac spinors and energy relations are obtained by solving the Dirac equation with centrifugal term for a new suggested generalized Manning-Rosen potential which includes the potentials describing the nuclear and molecular ...

Multi-Dirac Structures and Hamilton-Pontryagin Principles for Lagrange-Dirac Field Theories [PDF]
The purpose of this paper is to define the concept of multi-Dirac structures and to describe their role in the description of classical field theories.

Dirac products and concurring Dirac structures
We discuss in this note two dual canonical operations on Dirac structures $L$ and $R$ -- the \emph{tangent product} $L \star R$ and the \emph{cotangent product} $L \circledast R$. Our first result gives an explicit description of the leaves of $L \star R$ in terms of those of $L$ and $R$, surprisingly ruling out the pathologies which plague general ...
