Event‐Based Spatiotemporal Disentangled Aggregation for Image Reconstruction

open access: yesInternational Journal of Intelligent Systems, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
The dynamic characteristics of event cameras demonstrate unique advantages in extreme environments; however, their inherent spatiotemporal asynchrony and noise sensitivity instead become serious drawbacks during extreme image reconstruction of coal mine substations.

Droplet‐Based Synthesis of Nanogels for Controlled Drug Delivery via Two Photon Polymerization‐3D Printed Microfluidic Device

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 10, Issue 19, October 7, 2025.
A miniaturized microfluidic device is 3D printed via two‐photon polymerization and used for the droplet‐based microfluidic synthesis of nanogels for controlled drug delivery purposes. Tuning the fluid flow parameters, the microfluidic system enables the modulation of nanogel size and properties, preserving an extremely low polydispersity, beyond the ...

A Novel Dual‐Network Approach for Real‐Time Liveweight Estimation in Precision Livestock Management

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 22, June 12, 2025.
A novel dual‐network framework is proposed for real‐time, non‐contact liveweight estimation of pigs. By extracting contour information instead of segmented images, the method achieves high accuracy (R2 = 0.993) and an exceptional speed of 1131.6 FPS. This approach enhances automation in livestock farming, providing a scalable and efficient solution for

Conquering Metal–Organic Frameworks by Raman Scattering Techniques

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 34, Issue 43, October 22, 2024.
Raman scattering, celebrated for its label‐free vibrational contrast, serves as an ideal means for exploring metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) through spectroscopic methods. Going beyond conventional spectroscopy, advanced Raman techniques empower in situ and in operando measurements with remarkable spatiotemporal precision.

Subjective assessment of visual fidelity: Comparison of forced‐choice methods

open access: yesJournal of the Society for Information Display, Volume 32, Issue 10, Page 726-740, October 2024.
We compared two subjective test paradigms (ISO/IEC 29170‐2 flicker, single frame non‐flicker) for evaluation of visually lossless compression in 3D images and video. Overall, the flicker paradigm was more sensitive than non‐flicker methods, but it may overestimate artifact visibility in natural conditions. The increased sensitivity of flicker detection
