A very stable electrode system for recording human scalp potentials with direct-coupled amplifiers
Electroencephalography and Clinical Neurophysiology, 1974Abstract Electrochemical factors involved in DC recordings are presented. Described is an electrode system which uses long flexible tubes to separate the metal-electrolyte interface of an electrode from the electrolyte-skin interface. Using commercially available Ag/AgCl skin potential electrodes, the system gave less than 0.5 μV/h drift occurring at

A Simple Direct--Coupled Power MOSFET Audio Amplifier Topology Featuring Bias Stabilization
IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, 1982Utilizing the high gain and high input impedance of short channel power MOSFETs, a simple circuit has been devised to provide sufficient drive for amplifiers up to 200 watts output. The circuit described features automatic control of the quiescent bias level and offers performance which meets criteria for high quality audio reproduction.

A modified chopping method of drift elimination in direct coupled DC amplifiers
Journal of Physics E: Scientific Instruments, 1975The results of measurements of a circuit composed mainly of discrete components and designed for applications in measuring and control equipment are presented. However, it seems to be quite possible to build such a circuit using integrated circuit techniques and a limited number of discrete components.
