Wideband direct-coupled differential amplifiers utilising AlGaAs/GaAs HBTs
Wideband direct-coupled differential amplifiers utilising AlGaAs/GaAs HBTs are presented. In the new circuit, input and output voltages of 0 V are obtained in a balanced condition, which allows direct cascade connections of the amplifiers. Superior amplifier performance of 20 dB gain with a 9 GHz bandwidth is obtained.

Method and apparatus for reducing microwave oscillator output noise [PDF]
Microwave oscilltors incorporate r.f. feedback with carrier suppression to reduce phase noise. In a direct feedback oscillator arrngement a circulator is interposed between the r.f. amplifier and the high-Q resonator.

ABSTRACT Background Kaposiform lymphangiomatosis (KLA) is an aggressive complex lymphatic anomaly. Patients exhibit malformed lymphatic vessels and often develop hemorrhagic effusions and elevated angiopoietin‐2 (Ang‐2) levels. A somatic NRAS p.Q61R (NRASQ61R) mutation has been associated with KLA.

Differential amplifier with regulator achieves high stability, low drift [PDF]
When d-c signals are to be amplified, the usual approach is to use a direct-coupled circuit. The difficulty of maintaining sufficiently low drift in a direct-coupled configuration led to the development of chopper and chopper-stabilized circuits, where ...

ABSTRACT Background Families of children with cancer experience significant financial strain, even with universal healthcare. Indirect costs, such as productivity losses and non‐medical expenses, are rarely included in economic evaluations, and little is known about how effectively financial aid programmes alleviate this burden. Childhood brain tumours

A Rapidly Tunable Laser System for Measurements of NH2 at 597 nm Behind Reflected Shock Waves
Distributed feedback lasers, which feature rapid wavelength tunability, are not presently available in the yellow and orange spectral regions, impeding spectroscopic studies of short-lived species that absorb light in this range.
