An Error Correction Model Analysis of the Determinant of Foreign Direct Investment: Evidence from Nigeria. [PDF]
This study used Granger causality and then error correction model to investigate the determinants of foreign direct investment inflow to Nigeria during the period 1970 – 2009. The results show that causality runs from government policy, fiscal incentives,

Biodegradable Adhesive Systems for Bio‐Integrated Applications
Biodegradable adhesives provide temporary yet reliable adhesion while degrading into safe, non‐toxic by‐products under physiological or environmental conditions. This review summarizes recent developments in physical and chemical adhesion mechanisms—including hydrogen bonding, catechol chemistry, amine‐carboxyl coupling, and emerging diazirine and urea

The Effect of Foreign Direct Investment on International Migration: Does Education Matter? [PDF]
Using migration data in 1990 and 2000, we find that inward foreign direct investment (FDI) in non-OECD countries affects the out-migration of individuals with tertiary and secondary education to OECD countries originating the investments, but has no ...

What Drives the Efficiency of Hard Coal Fuelled Electricity Generation? An Empirical Assessment [PDF]
The efficiency of electricity generation in hard coal fired power plants varies considerably from country to country and over time. These differences occur both between developing and developed countries and between industrialised nations.

Advanced Human Immune Cell‐Organoid Co‐Cultures for Functional Testing of Cancer Nanovaccines
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma remains difficult to treat. We establish an organoid–immune co‐culture using patient‐derived organoids and matched T‐cells to assess cancer vaccines. A mesothelin‐targeted nanovaccine activates antigen‐specific T‐cells, increases IFN‐γ, and targets MSLN+ organoids.

This work introduces a substrate‐independent, reagent‐free plasma strategy that forms radical‐rich interlayers for covalent hydrogel attachment without initiators or crosslinkers. The long‐lived radicals drive in situ gelation, creating robust, cytocompatible hybrid solid–hydrogel constructs across diverse substrates.

Conflict resolution: the missing link between liberal international relations theory and realistic practice [PDF]
This Handbook is a collection of works from leading scholars in the Conflict Analysis and Resolution (CAR) field, all working from their own disciplines yet cognizant of the multidisciplinary nature of that field.

This study presents sulfate‐directed silver dendrites (s‐AgDs) as oxidation‐resistant SERS substrates with long‐term stability, reproducibility, and sub‐picomolar sensitivity. Sulfate ions guide anisotropic growth and protect the surface, enabling improved performance over 7 months under ambient conditions.
