REGULAR PATTERN MINING (WITH JITTER) ON WEIGHTED-DIRECTED DYNAMIC GRAPHS [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Engineering Science and Technology, 2017
Real world graphs are mostly dynamic in nature, exhibiting time-varying behaviour in structure of the graph, weight on the edges and direction of the edges.

Analysis of Effective Connectivity Strength in Children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Using Phase Transfer Entropy

open access: yesIranian Journal of Psychiatry, 2021
Objective: This study aimed to investigate differences in brain networks between healthy children and children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) during an attention test.

Ollivier Ricci curvature of directed hypergraphs

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2020
Many empirical networks incorporate higher order relations between elements and therefore are naturally modelled as, possibly directed and/or weighted, hypergraphs, rather than merely as graphs.

An RRT-Dijkstra-Based Path Planning Strategy for Autonomous Vehicles

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
It is challenging to plan paths for autonomous vehicles on half-structured roads because of the vast planning area and complex environmental constraints. This work aims to plan optimized paths with high accuracy and efficiency.

Analysis of Regular Patterns in Un-Weighted Directed Graphs

open access: yesInternational Journal of Information Retrieval Research, 2021
Time evolving networks tend to have an element of regularity. This regularity is characterized by existence of repetitive patterns in the data sequences of the graph metrics. As per our research, the relevance of such regular patterns to the network has not been adequately explored.

Linear Time Additively Exact Algorithm for Transformation of Chain-Cycle Graphs for Arbitrary Costs of Deletions and Insertions

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
We propose a novel linear time algorithm which, given any directed weighted graphs a and b with vertex degrees 1 or 2, constructs a sequence of operations transforming a into b.

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Mapping temporal-network percolation to weighted, static event graphs

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2018
The dynamics of diffusion-like processes on temporal networks are influenced by correlations in the times of contacts. This influence is particularly strong for processes where the spreading agent has a limited lifetime at nodes: disease spreading ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.
