ABSTRACT In this work, we introduce a trifluoromethoxy (OCF3) group as a pseudo‐halogen terminal group design for non‐fullerene acceptors, which combines strong inductive electron‐withdrawing ability with moderate resonance donation. The as‐synthesized BTP‐OCF3, when benchmarked against its methoxy analogue BTP‐OCH3, demonstrates narrowed bandgap ...

Compressive frequency-difference direction-of-arrival estimation
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2023Direction-of-arrival estimation is difficult for signals spatially undersampled by more than half the wavelength. Frequency-difference beamforming [Abadi, Song, and Dowling (2012). J. Acoust. Soc. Am. 132, 3018–3029] offers an alternative approach to avoid such spatial aliasing by using multifrequency signals and processing them at a lower frequency ...

High Resolution Estimation of Directions of Arrival
2005 IEEE 61st Vehicular Technology Conference, 2005In this paper, we propose a novel system architecture that employs the flexible tree search based orthogonal matching pursuit (FTB-OMP) algorithm for direction of arrival estimation. It is shown by simulation results that the FTB-OMP algorithm has high estimation performance and resolution capability when compared to the MUSIC and OMP algorithms.

A novel direction of arrival estimator
Journal of Electronics (China), 2004A Direction Of Arrival(DOA) estimator based on the signal separation principle is introduced, and one of representative multidimensional estimators is established by introducing Matrix Operator projection signal steering Vector Excision(MOVE) operation.

Compressive wideband direction of arrival estimation
2015 38th International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP), 2015Compressive Sampling (CS) has recently emerged as a groundbreaking technique which reconstructs the sparse signal using samples taken below Nyquist sampling frequency (sub-Nyquist samples). In this paper we consider to estimate the Direction of Arrival (DOA) of wideband signals using sub-Nyquist samples.

High-resolution Direction-of-Arrival estimation
2022Direction of Arrival (DOA) estimation is considered one of the most crucial problems in array signal processing, with considerable research efforts for developing efficient and effective direction-finding algorithms, especially in the transportation industry, where the demand for an effective, real-time, and accurate DOA algorithm is increasing ...

Mirrored Arrays for Direction-of-Arrival Estimation
ICASSP 2020 - 2020 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2020A mirrored array configuration, which consists of an ordinary linear array and a reflector, is proposed. The mirrored arrays can provide composable degrees of freedom (DOF) for array processing by combined measurements with the help of mechanical adjustment (e.g., movement or rotation).

Direction of Arrival Filters for Improved Aberration Estimation
Ultrasonic Imaging, 2008Successful adaptive imaging requires accurate measurements of the aberration profile across the array surface. Two-dimensional spatial filters are used to obtain more accurate estimates of aberrating layers by suppressing wavefronts emanating from off-axis scatterers.

Subspace estimators of direction of arrival
Conference Record of the Thirty-Eighth Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems and Computers, 2004., 2005We consider in this paper a class of techniques for the estimation of the direction of arrival of a narrowband signal. Eigenvectors of a spectral covariance matrix corresponding to a number of the lowest eigenvalues are used to estimate the bearing. It is shown that the estimator has a non-standard asymptotic distribution.

Decentralized Direction of Arrival Estimation
2017Direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation using partly calibrated arrays composed of multiple subarrays is employed in various practical applications, such as radar, sonar, and seismic exploration. The state-of-the-art DOA estimation algorithms require the measurements of all sensors to be available at a processing center (PC).
