From Waste to Value: Conversion of Calcium Sulfate to Vaterite via Carbon Capture and Storage
This study introduces a new concept for carbon management that relies on the carbonation of industrial gypsum waste and yields phase‐pure vaterite at ambient conditions without any additives. The obtained vaterite is further shown to be a reactive material that develops compressive strength in aqueous suspensions like conventional cements.

A vertically stacked, DEA‐driven photonic array inspired by cephalopod skin, featuring highly crystalline colloidal crystal gels with vivid color, low FWHM and scalability is presented. High Resolution Estimation of Directions of Arrival
2005 IEEE 61st Vehicular Technology Conference, 2005In this paper, we propose a novel system architecture that employs the flexible tree search based orthogonal matching pursuit (FTB-OMP) algorithm for direction of arrival estimation. It is shown by simulation results that the FTB-OMP algorithm has high estimation performance and resolution capability when compared to the MUSIC and OMP algorithms.
