Mutual coupling effects correction in microstrip arrays for direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation
IEE Proceedings - Microwaves, Antennas and Propagation, 2002The presence of mutual coupling severely degrades the performance of an adaptive array. A simple method based on obtaining an N/spl times/N coupling matrix, C, to compensate for the coupling effects in direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation algorithms is presented.

2018 International Conference on Communication and Signal Processing (ICCSP), 2018High resolution algorithms for angle estimation is essential to achieve resolution of targets in radar systems. Major drawback of existing subspace based algorithms is that its performance gets degraded for reduced number of snapshots. When number of snapshot is less than number of sources, resolution offered by subspace based algorithms are very less.
